Today, we have posted a new review of “Anime Studio Pro 7″ that highlights what we think of the product. If you like doing 2D/3D animation, then you need to read this review.
Anime Studio Pro 7 offers some of the most complete and feature rich application that handles standard animation. If you are a Flash user, then you may be surpised how much easier it is to animate for the SWF format. Anime Studio Pro 7 does it all!! And very well too!

In every business, there are important things that drive them. Some businesses make their “mission statements” public and are a part of their marketing strategy. Even though it is the main goal of every business to financially prosper, some seem to excel at quality and service more then others.
As a web-graphic-multimedia developer, I have seen very poor looking web sites and designs and I have had to deal with companies that lack good quality and service. It’s no wonder I have seen a few businesses fail… they don’t take care of their clients.
Companies do not mind so much what they are charged as long as they feel they get quality and service; which equals value to them. A company needs to feel that they get value when they partnership with you. And value is that element of quality and service that goes beyond just the actual project. Value is knowing that they are being taken care and that what they are getting makes their brand better.
As each business progresses a certain “personality” (reputation) begins to emerge. A business will live or die based on their reputation. So, what is really important to any client you partnership with?
As I try to build up my small business, the things I am seeing that are important is that clients want fast service, quality work and 24/7 accessibility and they want to know that you really are interested in helping them. This is the kind of business model I am working for. Sure, we all want to make money… but serve the other guy first and the rest falls into place.
From the very start, I have put quick, quality service first. Being a web designer means, I have clients that need updates done to their sites ASAP… not 3 weeks down the road. What I do the first thing in the morning, is tend to all the smaller request first. Then I work on my larger projects afterwards.
I know of some web companies that their “to do list” is “first come first serve.” What they do is put you on a list and you have to wait no matter how small your request is… is that value?
To wrap this up… I am not completely their yet, I am still fine tuning my service skills because our goal is Quality + Service = Value!
As some of you know, I was laid off from TD Bank July 2009 (it has been a year already!) and because of the job market, finding a job in the technology sector hasn’t been easy.
I was one of the blessed ones to get an extension just prior to the goverment failing to pass the UI extension this past month. And because I made it under the wire, my UI will last until late in the year.
That being the case, I have more time to try and build up TechniPixel Solutions into hopefully a “full time” endeavour that I can live on. If I find a job, I will continue to run TechniPixel for the extra income. If I run out of UI, then I will have to figure that out when and if it happens.
Stay tuned!
Today, we have posted a new review of a traditional utility that some really never consider to be important. But, if you handle large files that needs to be moved, uploaded or sent to a client, then you need to read this review.

SmithMicro, developers of Poser 8 has renewed their sponsorship with TechniPixel Solutions. SmithMicro (http://www.smithmicro.com) has been a sponsor of TechniPixel since 2007 in conjunction with it’s popular Poser 7.
With a renewed interest in the Poser product line, we have done a new review of Poser 8 and it newest offerings. We don’t just tell you what they have already stated on their product page. We tell you what it is like using Poser 8 from a “graphic artist’s” perspective and what we honestly found… pros and cons.
You will find that Poser 8 feels more productive and professional to use!
Here is a small snippet of our review…
“Poser 8 has a much improved interface that performs better then version 7. The workflow is better too. More content is provided that is easily accessible in the improved Library. Creating and animating projects is much faster then if you had to do this in a 3D application from scratch. The rendering is pretty good. Great import and export formats so you can use with other 3D applications.”

Hey all…
Just an update on my job status.
As some of you know, I have been unemployed since July 17, 2009. I am still unemployed as of today. The job outlook for my skill set in the Lewsiton-Auburn area of Maine is very slim.
Things have gotten a lot tighter now that my severance package has been used up. I lost my insurance on 12-31-2009 and my wife’s medication is up around $450 or so a month.
I am trying to ramp up my TechniPixel side business, but it is still very slow because of the economy in our area. However, I am brain storming on some ways to push it forward (even though I can’t advertise - no money)
So, If anyone knows of a position anywhere in the US that you think I might fit in… or if you have a contract web-graphic-multimedia project for me, then please contact me by visiting my http://www.technipixel.com site and email me.
Thank you!
We have added a quick tutorial on what and how to change a computer’s screen resolution. Currently the web standard is 1024 x768 and we design our sites to fit within that resolution. This is mostly for clients of ours who need to change their resolution from older pc’s running 800 x 600 or lower.

Thanks
We added a new “Case Studies” page to our site that describes how we helped some of our clients.

In our article Raster vs Vector, we look at what these two formats are and how they differ. We also outline the pros an cons of both formats. Then we suggest what the web standards are and what we prefer.
